➤大戟科：
經常與仙人掌科搞混，但兩者的養護方式差不多，都是不挑環境很好照顧的種類。大戟科數量龐大，而且囊括許多稜角分明、長相怪異的珍奇品種。
➤介質：
對土壤要求不高，使用疏鬆透氣的介質即可，建議比例『顆粒土：培養土＝7：3』➜推薦土壤『多肉介質+培養土』
➤養護：
✓澆水－一般來說，冬季可兩周到一個月一次，夏季一週一次，但若環境較通風，水乾得快，植物表皮有點皺皺的時候就可以澆水。基本上對水量並不是太挑剔，稍微多了或少了都沒有問題。
✓日照－耐曬也耐陰，喜歡陽光，有些品種可當戶外植物，陽光充足下植株會更飽滿，若要種植於室內也可以，最好是放在窗邊。
